Our Trap Neuter Return (TNR) and Spay/Neuter service available to colony caretakers and owners of domestic cats in Madison and Culpeper Counties.* TNR is the humane trapping of cats, including overnight care, transportation to the clinic, surgery and Rabies vaccination, aftercare and returning them to their colony.
Our Domestic Spay/Neuter (S/N) service is for owned cats who can go to the clinic in a carrier where they receive surgery, FVRCP and Rabies vaccinations.
Kitten Intake is available year-round to clients working with MAD Cats TNR and S/N programs and to residents who find kittens in need of assistance.
Food Assistance is available to colony caretakers who have worked with MAD Cats in our TNR program to spay/neuter and vaccinate their community cats. In Madison County MESA food pantry provides cat food and in Culpeper, the Culpeper Humane Society maintains a pet pantry.
