With our volunteers and your support, we have changed the lives of more than 5,500 cats
October 2024 was our 7th anniversary. We not only help cats, but we help people too, more than
4,000 of them!

Mad Cats believes that all cats deserve to be safe, cared for, and protected from suffering.
We improve the lives of cats in central Virginia by:

reducing overpopulation, which directly impacts the number of cats and kittens surrendered to shelters and euthanized.

The organization provides no-cost spay and neuter services to cat owners and free-roaming cat caretakers and medical care for sick and injured cats.

We intake kittens to foster homes and provide all supportive and vet care through Spay/Neuter, prior to adoption.
